The Beginning of Scribe & Scale

Hello, readers! I am Krishna Chodha, a proud resident of Himachal Pradesh's Valley of Gods. It’s a great pleasure to introduce my own blogging page, Scribe & Scale.

I’ve chosen this name because it reflects a balance of intellectual curiosity and practical application — perfect for a blog that bridges the worlds of archaeology, finance, and tech tips. My fascination with archaeology began when I was a child, inspired by one of the shows on History TV18. Any guesses? Yes, you’re absolutely right — it was Ancient Aliens! There was another show that captured my imagination as well, but I can’t quite recall its name — so if you remember, do share it in the comments!

Since watching those shows, I’ve been captivated by Egypt and one of the Seven Wonders of the World — the majestic Pyramids of Giza. Their history, mystery, and architectural brilliance have always intrigued me.

On the finance side of this blog, we’ll explore the markets and deepen our collective understanding of finance. This won’t be a space for stock tips or trading advice — I’ll leave that to the professionals. Instead, we’ll focus on understanding financial concepts and learning together.

I truly hope we can grow together on this journey and share our thoughts through open and fun discussions. Thank you so much for reading — I can’t wait to hear from you!

A Birthday Realization

 Hello readers, Today along with the start of my blog is my birthday which was one of the major reasons I've started this blog. Today I'm 21 and I feel like I have become quite old. As everyone around me looks small and had a weirdest interaction with a woman just few weeks back who started a conversation with the word "Bhaiya".  Can you imagine a married woman calling me bhaiya there and then I felt like "Oh man, I am getting old, or do I look like one?". This also made my feet move toward the gym faster and instead of lifting weights I went on the Cardio floor and did 30-45 min of cardio. And then ate almost a bowl worth of chocolate mousse cake as you do. This whole experience got me thinking — why not share my daily stories with people who might have gone through the same “Oh no, I’m getting old” moments? Maybe we can laugh, reflect, and figure out this journey together. So, here’s to many more stories, experiences, and a lot of cake. Welcome to my blog!...

Do you still love it?

There are some shows that we loved to watch on a regular basis and waited every week for the next episode to appear. That show for me was WWE, well some of you might not consider it a show but for me it was more than that. I remember the first time I saw my first WWE match on a Sunday afternoon, it was a sunny day on March 29, 2010. My parents fed up with a 7 year me handed off the remote and just scolded off to watch some cartoon as they already knew there wasn't a possibility for me to go study. So, watching the same old repeat episodes of Ben 10 made me curious about other channels and while switching channels I reached to "Ten Sports" back in the day unlike today's 1,2,3. Now, I was fully focused on two men fighting each other "Undertaker & Shawn Michaels", I didn't understand a thing the commentators were speaking, but that wasn't my focus my full attention was on the fight.
